A Leg To Stand On
For my spring Production in Action class, we were to formulate a social media campaign, a live event, and branding for a charity that was assigned to us. We worked with A Leg To Stand On, "a NYC-based charity working in the developing world, bringing free orthopedic care to children with limb disabilities whose families cannot afford treatment." - altso.org
I was given the title of student executive producer of the event, and I was working together with 14 of my peers in order to execute a filmed documentary of our process and results of our creation of our live Musical Chairs event. Three of my fellow peers were major-specific producers, as film, recording arts, and digital arts. However, I was in charge of the design assets and was working with three of my peers to create print and digital pieces.
Social media posts
My team and I formulated a series of 10 social media posts to post on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Along with the social media push, we also put on a Musical Chairsity event in order to raise money at an open house at Tribeca Flashpoint College. The lead showman from Chicago Rock Exchange visited us, and played the music for the musical chairs.
